| What is the biogas? |

|
Biogas are polluting and malodorous, but it are rich in energy.
The least polluting process to use them is the biomethanization, wich is a biological process of anaerobic digestion.
Biomethanization is carried out in a digester which can be a private or collective in some countries. |

How can we develop them ?
The methane thus produced can be used to produce electricity and heat by means of generator sets driven by gas engine.
Some of the heat can be used in the digester. The waste of the digester can be used as manure.
The observation of the installation in the countries which have already developed these techniques, show powers going from a few ten KW to several hundred KW for agricultural and industrial applications, and around a thousand1000 KW for installation which reprocess mud from purification stations. |
